From social media to your crucial in person interactions this panel will engage in a lively discussion about your next steps to help you maximize your digital energies and in-person interactions with creative buyers. This seminar will run a full two-hours and include a panel of creative buyers moderated by Heidi Goverman West Coast Rep at Workbook. Shawna Bigby Davis
Shawna wakes up every day hungry for solving problems. As a serial entrepreneur, she has a proven track record of pitching, selling, and producing successful cross-media content and digital products. Shawna co-found and built All Boats Rise, an award-winning, creatively-driven agency that earned accolades launching projects as varied as getting cats adopted with the Catty Wagon to releasing the Art of League of Legends to its fans via custom apps and limited edition books. As a branding expert, her most notable projects include the Lucky Brand Jeans redesign, the influential branding and advertising for launching the Nissan LEAF and the global rebranding of Nissan itself during her tenure at TBWA\Chiat\Day.  Shawna’s unique creative vision has led to the creation of industry firsts and multiple awards and mentions for clients including Nike, Coke, Nissan, Lucky Brand Jeans, Riot Games, Sutterhome, Zoetis, Found Animals, UCLA and Munchkin and more.
Suzee Barrabee
Suzee spent the majority of her career at Goodby Silverstein & Partners. There, she worked on every major brand that passed through the agency doors – Polaroid, Adobe, Elizabeth Arden Fragrances, Nike, NBA, Saturn, Comcast, Princess Cruise Line and Chevrolet – to name a few. She is now a freelance Art and Print Producer and has been fortunate to work at Facebook, Salesforce, Heat, Gyro, Camp + King, BSSP and GS&P. 
 
Glenn Batkin
Glenn Batkin is a freelance creative director for advertising agencies. He’s worked on staff at New York agencies including: J Walter Thompson, Bozell, Grey, CDM and GSW. Awards for his efforts – Clio’s, Comm Arts, Manny’s, Graphis, Archive mag, Cannes, Rx Club, Obie and the NY Art Directors Club.
Jessica Mirolla
Jessica Mirolla is an art producer at The Garage. In addition to her experience of being an art producer for several agencies with blue chip accounts, her love of art has lead her to curating not only the walls of the agencies she has worked for but also for companies and private residences. Discovering new talent is one of the most exciting aspects of her job and festivals like the PSPF help her unearth the hidden talent gems.
Ken Zane
Kenneth Zane is a Senior Photo Producer at the GAP & Old Navy. Before this, he was a Sr.Producer at Leo Burnett advertising agency in Chicago. Ken began his career in New York as an Art Buyer for Palio Communications, followed by work for DRAFTFCB, and Digitas. Some of his many accounts have included: Motorola, MilkPep, GSK, Pfizer , Astra Zeneca, KMART, SC Johnson, Hampton Inn, Nestle, Kraft, Boeing, Dow, UCB, and Olay—running the gamut from consumer to health care. Currently he is working with such clients as Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Miller-Coors,3M and P & G. Zane has cultivated turning this diverse experience into indispensable assets. Passionate about photography and art since childhood, he loves and thrives on the visual discovery of both new and seasoned talent

BIOGRAPHY

Heidi Goverman spends her days supporting commercial artists. As the West Coast Rep for The Workbook Heidi produces exclusive events, helps with resources and marketing strategies to empower her clients to set themselves apart every day. Before joining Workbook, Heidi spent five years as the Executive Director for APA Los Angeles, a national non-profit photography organization, where she found her true passion in supporting artists and their businesses. She created and produced events with a wide range of topics including; marketing, business savvy, portfolio reviews and their very successful annual photography exhibition.

Heidi’s super power is talking. This means, to her at least, that she must be a good listener who likes to solve problems.
